By Admin,
Christmas holidays are perfect opportunity to enjoy a family vacation and take a break from daily routine. Traveling often means introducing children to new cultures and unfamiliar languages, landscapes, and food. I personally celebrate Christmas in small towns and other cities every year making memories for a lifetime. Some of the best places to visit in India.
Pondicherry:
Pondy is quite festive during Christmas. In the weeks preceding Christmas, there are Carol concerts and an annual Christmas Market aka Marche de Noel which features handcrafted and home-made artefacts and produce by Indian and French entrepreneurs. On Christmas Day and Christmas Eve, almost every restaurant throws a sumptuous spread. There are parties too.
Bangalore:
Christmas in Bangalore is one of the best places to go. Entire city has an exuberant festive spirit and rich in culinary delights, the city is spoilt for choices. On Christmas eve, head to Koshy’s for their plum cake & ginger tea, Thomsons Baker for their rum-soaked cake, or Caperberry for a tempting turkey dinner.
Daman And Diu
One of the best places to visit during Christmas which is not talked much about. With several cultural shows, Corridinho (Portuguese dance) shows, midnight mass in the many churches located here, and thousands of lamps illuminating the skies overhead, there’s no reason one shouldn’t visit Daman & Diu during Christmas!
Manali
If you are not much of a beach person? Would you rather go & spend Christmas in snowy hills? Manali surely is one of the best places to visit in India during Christmas for your fairytale Christmas like experience where you can play in the snow, go skiing and snowboarding, hang out at the chic cafes, decorate Christmas trees, and sit by the fireplace sipping on hot chocolate and waiting for Santa to arrive
