Here is a yummy weightloss recipe which will work with your low carb high protein diet too. The dosa is crisp on the outside and soft inside. Pesarattu will make an ideal breakfast, you can eat it with chutney or sprinkle chutney powder and chopped onion while making the dosa. Its almost like an instant dosa, there is no need of overnight fermentation.
- Whole Moong Dal- 1/2 cup soaked overnight
- Plain yellow moong dal- 1/2 cup soaked for 3 hours
- Rice- 1/2 cup soaked for 3 hours
- Cumin seeds – 1/2 tsp
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Green chillies- 2 small
- Hing (optional)- a pinch
- Coriander leaves- half a bunch
- Oil for frying
Grind the soaked dals and all above ingredients in a mixer and keep aside for 1-2 hours.
Now make your crispy dosas.
