Hi All,

Today Im going to talk to you about my new discovery and how sustainable and convenient it is to use a menstrual cup. Now coming to what are menstrual cups, they are insertable cups which is a replacement for tampons or pads during your menstrual cycle. They are available in various sizes.

Now the question is if its painful to use or will you experience any leakage. Definitely not. I too had the same fears as all of you, and can surely say its just 1-2 times to practice using it and you will be good. I was surprised at no strained bedspreads or clothes.

My main intention for this post is to spread the message of using a more sustainable product, economical and friendly to our environment. Also, during this lockdown time, you dont have to run around to stores.

Incase you want to donate something to underprivilaged women, who maynot be able to afford or run around during this lockdown, please gift them one.

During travel its really convenient, put it in a pouch and your all set to go.

Ok now they next question would be on how to clean and wash menstrual cups:

When travelling, take a bottle of dettol or any antiseptic liquid and was it once before use with plain water and dettol. At home, if you can sterilize it with hot water during the first and last use it would be great. you just need to dip it it hot water for few mins and your good to go.

Finally, this is one of the best products I have seen in recent times, try to use it and help the planet. Spread the word across. If you have questions drop a comment I will respond to you..

Stay Safe, Stay Indoors :)

Brands I have tried: PeeSafe, Sirona , price range is usually between INR 200-500
