Hi Mommies,

I am a first time mom and like other mommies, I always try to get the best product for my baby. My baby has a very sensitive skin and therefore I am very particular about the baby care products I use on my little one. After a lot of trial and error, I finalized on Cetaphil moisturizing lotion after it was suggested by my Pediatrician. I was so impressed with this product that I also started using it on my own skin.

The lotion is neither thick nor thin and a considerable amount works well. It also gets absorbed easily by the skin. My baby’s skin doesn’t look oily and greasy. His skin also feels very soft and nice once after using this lotion. I usually use it twice a day (morning after bath and before putting my baby to sleep). I don’t use any nappy rash cream. This lotion solves the purpose of rash cream too. The best part is that this lotion is fragrance free.

My baby never had any breakouts or rashes after I started using this lotion. I would surely recommend all the mommies’ to try this for their baby. I am sure you would be happy with the result.

This product is available online and across pharmacy counters.

    Hii admin,
We are using Cetaphil moisturizer from last 9 months for my 11 month baby boy.My mother have a doubt, that this cream is inadvertently darkens the skin. Please give us your take on it?

    • admin says:

Its safe and no oil base hence there is no darkening. Skin will darken based on genes. This lotion atleast is not oil based hence it wont tan.

    Hi admin,

For babies there are special moisturising lotions by cetaphil. Should we be using them or the one that is shown in the picture here. This doesn’t seem to be baby lotion.

Love love love this product. Am using it for my baby as well as myself, awesome :)

  8. Cetaphil is a trusted brand and the imported ones are costly compared to the ones manufactured in India.

Apart from the high end cost, it actually works wonders and is always recommended by pediatricians.

Hi Sangeetha, yes the imported ones are expensive here, but its very cheap in the US. Try getting it from there, you even have one buy one free offer.
