With the change in season, our skincare products and regimen must change too. However, mothers of little ones almost have no time for such self-care. Therefore, they are often left with dull skin and acne all over their face when summer kicks in.

We believe that resorting to high-end acne creams and skincare products are the only solution to a better skin in summers.  That is not entirely true. Yes, the products do matter at times but a few simple steps done for skincare with consistency are what make the huge difference.

Are you a busy mother and wish to know the simple skincare tips for a great summer glow? Read below and thank me when done!

A Travel-Size Soothing Mist is All You Need

All the heat and sweat leave the skin dehydrated and dull during the daytime. Heading out in summers can worsen the skin if you do not take measures for its proper care. Keeping a soothing facial mist in your bag can help you give an instant refreshing boost to your skin. It will also keep the skin hydrated and the tone even.

Sleep with a Clean Face

I know that being a mother of a toddler, it is almost impossible to follow a proper nighttime skincare routine on a daily basis. That is why here is a pro tip: keep cleansing wipes, a peel off mask and a moisturizer on your nightstand. This way when you get to bed, you can cleanse your face without the need of heading to the bathroom.

Hydrate the Skin

Skincare is not just about applying product to the skin externally. It has a lot to do with your eating and drinking habits as well. In order to keep your skin hydrated and glowing in summers, make sure you drink enough water and eating watery fruit. Also, carry a bottle with you so that you can track your water intake and refill the bottle multiple times.

Exfoliate Your Skin

You do not always have time for exfoliation. Therefore, keep a loofah and exfoliating body wash in your bathroom. This way you can exfoliate your skin whenever you take a shower. Use a separate scrub for your face that has gentler exfoliating beads and milder scent.

Say No to Foundations

Using the same full coverage foundation can break you out and clog your pores. Summer is the best time for using BB cream as it is moisturizing, has SPF in it and has a sheer coverage.  Plus, it is light in consistency. If you cannot do without a foundation, look for a top-quality non-comedogenic foundation.
