white sauce pasta


1 bowl of uncooked pasta

½ cup of chopped onion, tomatoes and red/green/yellow bell peppers

¼ cup maida

Salt as per taste

Dry basil and oregano

¼ cup butter/olive oil

2-3 cup milk

½ cup grated cheese

Procedure to make white sauce:

1)Heat butter in a pan and add maida,sauté for 2 min

2)Add 2 cup  milk and bring to boil(you can add more milk if you wish to adjust the consistency of the white sauce)

3)Bring to boil for 5-7 minutes and keep on stirring it continuously and your white sauce is ready.

Procedure to make pasta

1)Take uncooked pasta and boil for 10 min.Drain the hot water and pour cold water over the boiled pasta

2)Take some butter in a pan and add chopped onion and capsicum to it.Saute it for 2-3 minutes (Donot over do it)

3)Then add boiled pasta to it and boiled vegetables like beans,green peas

4)Cook for 5 min and add white sauce to the entire mixture.Mix well the vegetables and pasta with white sauce

5)Add salt, oregano and black pepper to it .Sprinkle cheese, dry basil and mix it well

6)Serve hot and immediately.if u keep pasta for long in sauce , pasta starts absorbing sauce and it gets dry.

    Thanks Rekha …i didnt knew tht we can use aarrowrrot ..wil use it next time..its defintely healthy compared to maida

    Nice one anjjali!! This is a regular for my son s snack box . I just replace the Maida with arrowroot powder to make it a healthier.. and top it with some grated cheese
