A Visit to The Pediatrician

In the world of the little one , no one & nothing is more important than his/ her mother. Especially in the earlier years of their life they are solely dependent on their mother.

Normally when any patient visits the doctor, the patient is asked by the doctor , for symptoms & other information regarding the illness. But it is only the Pediatrician , who asks mother of his patient regarding the symptoms & other things. It is only because the babies are unable to express what they are going through.

Hence , the treatment of the sick baby , fully depends on the information provided by the mother. If mother gives the right information  then only the pediatrician is able to do exact diagnosis & give effective medical treatment to the sick baby.

So if the mother is not able to observe the symptoms of the illness or is not able to put it in words for doctor, then , it takes time to treat the sick baby.

Thus the sickness of the baby get extended , which discomforts the baby as well as the mother , & adds to the sadness of the entire family.

The duty of the mother does not end here, after the visit to the doctor , following the instructions given is equally important.

So if your baby is sick & you are planning to visit the doctor , keep in mind few points.

• Keep a note of all the symptoms of the baby’s illness you observed. 
• Keep a note of all the questions you have in your mind which you intend to ask the pediatrician.
• Communicate well.
• Do not talk irrelevant / or too much , it will just confuse the doctor.
• Listen properly to all the instructions given & note down.
• Follow all the instructions.

so , its the mother on  whom everything depends.
