Social Life With a Baby

Print Friendly

How much you have been socializing after having a baby? Here’s my story:

I was very particular about the kind of people I interacted with and never talked to random people until I was at least casually introduced to them by someone. During the last 4 years of my marriage, we have stayed in two localities, lived in an apartment and now a house. But I never really made many friends in the neighborhood. Rather I did not have anything in common to talk about.

Now, after a baby I have opened up so much. I talk to neighbors and some moms who are out taking a stroll with their kids. There is so much of baby talk to do. Imagine I have gone to an extent of starting this blog.  But then it really feels wonderful and it seems like a new life.

I never knew what was coming after being a mommy, I used to think that I would be trapped with my kid and become a boring person.

Turns out that I have so much more networking to do now. So many business ideas, I get in touch with so many mompreneurs. It’s a whole new world out here. For all those fearing of what your life would be on this side, its not that bad. Do plan to become mommy soon.  lol

I love the mommy communities on Facebook. Its difficult to say how well two women connect but two mommies definitely connect very well. I have made so many friends after I started this blog.

Do connect with us and tell us your story, ask us doubts even if we don’t have answers we will make sure we get it answered, like us on FB and stay connected.

Do watch our blog every Monday for mompreneur of the week series, where we showcase an inspiring supermom and her business.
