Hi Moms,

Im sure we are all well aware of the air we breathe, recent studies have shown that breathing air in polluted cities is like puffing 3-5 cigarettes per day. I was shocked hearing this. Added to this, indoor air is more polluted than outdoor air as it stays for a long time.

Have you heard of oxygen spas? People pay by the hour to breather fresh air. Sad is-int it? That’s the state of our bodies, we get overly stressed and tired because of the air we breathe. After all these reality bites, I was looking for solutions.

I started researching about air purifiers after reading about so many air borne diseases and viruses that affect kids every day. Air purifiers remove all the toxic particles, virus, bacteria and other allergens within your home. It is quite portable too, if your going on a short trip you can carry it in your car. I have always trusted Philips as a brand and  got the privilege of trying the brand new Philips Air Purifier. It was very simple to use, even fixing the filters was easy . You just need to select the speed, time and your done.

We cant do anything about the outside air but we can atleast make sure our precious kids breathe clean and fresh air while at home. Its very useful for people suffering from respiratory disorders. You should find a decent purifier in the range of 16k to 50k. The higher range has humidifiers and air purifier combos.

After using the purifier for a month, I can tell you few reasons why you should buy one:

  • Keeps your indoor air totally clean and pure.
  • Very simple operation, just select speed and timer.
  • Sleek design, can stand on the ground and tabletop.
  • Will look stylish with your furniture.
  • Its very easy to remove the filters and replace
  • Uses very less power, more or less the power consumed by a fan.
  • A trusted brand like Philips.
  • Very silent as compared to other purifiers.

I know these are new appliances that are entering the market, we felt  the same about airconditioners and water purifers, but looks like it will soon become a necessity. Being a mommy blogger I would definitely recommend it to families with pregnant woman, babies and kids as their immunity is generally low.

I just hope the product reaches schools and hospitals.
