Review of BabyBerry Parenting App

With the happiness of the arrival of our little bundle of joy, comes our responsibility. As parents we are responsible for the physical, emotional, social as well as intellectual well-being of our child. It is our responsibility to promote goodness in them from infancy to adulthood.

During this period we need information on various topics (related to baby health, eating etc.), and not to forget a platform to interact with other moms to share our thoughts, experiences. I must say all these things are not always easily available together… no matter how hard we try.

Then, I installed the BabyBerry Parenting App from Google play store on my Smartphone…and it has opened a world of information at the click of a button

So, today my fellow moms I am reviewing BabyBerry App for you.

ABOUT BabyBerry APP

A Smart Parenting solution/ service for parents with children from the age of 0 – 6 years. This is the solution for everything that a Parent may need ie. information, advice, reminders, and a friendly platform. BabyBerry is a child health and wellness platform which makes parenting easy.

BabyBerry focuses on overall growth and development of a child.

FEATURES 

Vaccination chart and reminder –

It reminds the parents about upcoming vaccinations and as well as it shares information about the purpose of the vaccination and its side effects.

Milestones: – It displays the milestones which a baby achieves as he/she grows.

Growth Chart: – It displays growth of the child, by weight, height and head circumference using graphics, so that the parents can easily monitor the growth of their babies.

Health record management :-

The healthcare records of the child can be uploaded, so that they are available always.

BabyBerry can be used by more than one parent and even grandparents can download the App and the same username and password can be used – allowing information to be accessed by a parent/ grandparent or a care taker.

Tip of the day:-

A useful parenting tip is given everyday.

Preferences: – Preferences can be given to reminders about, vaccinations & milestones. (For example 1 week or 2 weeks in advance)  Also, the timing of the day when you wish to see the new parenting tip can be given according to your preference.

Communique:-

Parenting information is given under various categories such as Parenting, Health, care, Baby calendar; Play n Learn, Food etc.

Help: – Help section in the app to understand how to use it.

Why I like this App:-

Information regarding the Vaccinations & its side effects so that parents become more educated as to what vaccine does and prepare in advance for fever etc. any other side effect accordingly.

The vaccination chart shows all the vaccinations a baby needs & administered vaccine can be updated by clicking on a check-box along with date.

Vaccination charts are updated automatically as and when needed.

Reminders regarding vaccination date are available even when internet is not available.

Due to the timely reminders by BabyBerry, parents don’t miss the vaccination.

The measurements of weight, height &head circumference can be taken and updated at regular intervals. The chart of growth for boys & girls are different.

It displays milestones to be achieved at regular time interval. It covers emotional, cognitive, social, language & physical milestone.

Parenting tip is given.

Parents are free from duties of maintaining the child’s medical records as all medical records can be uploaded on the app. With the advancement of medical technology health records from birth are important to fight diseases/illness at a later stage.

As this App can be downloaded by Parents, grandparents… and accessed by using same username password, it helped me for getting a second opinion by pediatrician in Mumbai, where my parents live.

It is available free of cost.

Various articles are available, which give us information related to parenting, health, care, baby calendar, play n learn and food.
