By Aanchal Goel,
‘Never a dull moment’ is something I’ve heard people say,
Meant to me being in a state of fun & frolic the whole day!
I realized that there was another side of the coin
When to the joy of our family did our newborn join!
Handling your new baby is quite a chore
With each new passing day you find problems galore!
The new inexperienced mother finds herself lost in caring
What with feeding, bed-wetting and nappies a-changing!
The sweetness and bliss of sleep is a thing of the past
What with the family, the house and baby – I am lost!
He sits now and wants to pull everything down
Don’t know why he does it when my face is turned around!
Now my baby is crawling around on all fours
With tiny hands that tend to find cracks and crevices to explore!
He’s broken decoration pieces, glasses, china and crockery
With him around it seems work is never a drudgery!
The passage of few months have made him a little star
He’s become fond of lights, music and drives in the car!
Exploring the world around him has now become his passion
And putting everything in his reach to his mouth is his satisfaction!
Cranky and crying and being a loony bin
Its teething time I’m told that the stage he’s in!
There’s never a dull moment in child rearing
Get yourself on the correct sights and bearing!
