ITC foods had recently invited me to their event which showcased all the ITC Food products and I should tell you that it was a day well spent after a long time. As a Bangalorean, ITC has been a trusted brand right from the time they entered into the food business.
I am a big fan of Ashirwad products and their B natural drinks, I did try Yippee a few times after the Maggie Ban, but I did have a lot of unanswered questions in my mind. So once I received the invite, I had to go there to know about the safety of their products as I have the responsibility of educating moms like you who have young kids who live on store bought food products.
The best part of the event was that Mr Rajesh the CEO of ITC Foods has his facts clear and their presentation and videos did convey a lot to atleast convince all of us bloggers that their food is safe. And my fellow bloggers would know how difficult it is to convince bloggers. The Event was titled “You Ask We Answer” and they kept up to the promise of answering all our queries about their food, quality and food safety. And if you take my word I am convinced that ITC produces quality food with the finest produce. They showed us videos on their factory that meets all food standards. And yes moms, I asked the famous question about yippee (Is Yippee Safe?) noodles, as it has been my kid’s go-to noodles recently. Ms Kavitha Chaturvedi who has been with Yippee from the time it was born helped us understand how they created the noodles with its unique shape and non sticky nature. Im convinced that the noodles is safe. The website has all details of their test reports and every question you have in your mind.

About the Event
It was very different from the events that I have attended before. The sessions were interactive and fun. They kept it as lively as possible. I would specially like to thank the ITC family for being so hospitable and playing such great hosts. Its definitely not what I have seen before. they were always available for questions and also were part of all the fun events.

We had wonderful Chefs from ITC gardenia who conduced a master-class on how to make some Khow Suey soup using Yippee noodles, the same was also served to us during lunch.
We had a cook off between teams and had to create a dish using Yippee noodles. We had a great bunch of ingredients in front of us and our team make a pizza using Yippee. The winning team made Gol Gappas which I will definitely try to recreate some day.
The food was mind blowing as always. I always enjoy the food at ITC gardenia. They had a lovely Tiramisu made out of dark fantasy biscuit and it was great, I loved the way it was presented. At the end of the day I was in a sweet comma with all the desserts.
Overall a great day sent with all my fellow bloggers on a bright sunny day with great food, great company and a trusted brand.
