Hi Mommies,
Are you worried about your LO’s weight gain? Dont worry we are all sailing on the same boat.
Since my little one nibbles on snacks these days, I thought Ill prepare some biscuits at home which would just melt in the mouth. This is extremely tasty and easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • Ghee- 1/2 cup
  • Maida/ Wheat – 1 cup
  • Water- very little
  • Salt
  • Chilli powder- a pinch
  • You can add one or more of all this: Hing/Cumin Seeds/Ajwain/Sesame seeds (I skipped this as my LO is too small)

Procedure:

Mix flour and ghee till you get a stiff dough. If its too much of a crumble, add more ghee. At the end just add very little water (2 tbsp) and mix to bring out the gluten and bind. Close in an airtight box or wet cloth and keep aside for an hour.

Now roll the dough into a thin sheet (it should be translucent) and cut using a cutter or bottle cap. Finally prick both sides with a fork and deep fry on low flame till it turns light brown.

You can store this in an airtight box for upto 2 weeks.
