Hi Moms,

There may be so many of you who would have taken a career break and want to get back to work. From my experience I can tell you that its not that easy. Since you would have spent the whole day with your child and running all the chores in your house, its not easy to drift or find a replacement. If you plan to join work overnight your definitely going to mess up things, so here are some tips which might help you.

Plan well in advance

If your looking for a job, it may definitely take you some time. But plan much before that as going out for interviews are equally time consuming. Plan how you would cope during this time.

Daycare or Nanny

Look out for a good Nanny or day care centre and get your kids adapted much before you join work so that you can monitor and comfort your child much before you join work.

Get your family prepared

Only when you start working members of your family will know how they could function all these days. Things that seemed easy will all turn around. Make them understand, take few hours off every day and go out for shopping and see how they manage. Keep reminding your kids that you will be working shortly and that they will be safe and unaffected.

Yes, you must be wondering why. Mothers who stay at home never realise that their whole wardrobe would have changed through the years. So make sure you shop and look your best during interviews.

Believe in your self

Its not an easy task to convince people that you are capable of working after a break. So if you have a slightest doubt it will definitely show, so be confident and believe in yourself. Only then others will believe you.
