For all you soon-to-be mommies, here is a short list of fruits that add to your nutrition and boost your spirits during pregnancy.
Your daily meal must ideally include atleast 6- 7 servings of fruits+vegetables, in which fruits should be 3-4 servings .
The most commonly available fruits that you can have during this stage are apples, oranges, bananas, apricots, cherries, grapes, guava, kiwi, mango, strawberries, peaches.
These fruits are packed with the necessary fibre and nutrients like Vitamin C, A, B6, Potassium, Folic acid,etc that keeps you going through the day.
-So go ahead and combine different coloured fruits to make a salad and drizzle with honey.
-chop and add them to your everyday morning cereal
to get the benefit of calcium as well;
-make a fruit smoothie with yoghurt or just plain milk
OR simply dunk small fruit pieces into a cup of yoghurt.
