I always remember Christmas as a time to share. Though we dont celebrate Christmas at home, we used to have a blast at school. We were thought to spread this joy and share a little something with the underprivileged during this time of the year. As mommies, I think its very important to teach our kids the joy of charity.
Though I am not directly involved with any organization and also dont believe in forcing anyone to donate. Charity really comes from the heart and I make it a point to share a little something with a few kids every year by paying their fees.
Here is a mail from Happy Feet an organization working with terminally ill children.
Today I want to to let you know about an Initiative to create India’s First Ever Hospice for Terminally Ill Children. https://www. facebook.com/HappyFeetHome
This Hospice will be a day care centre for such children and their parents to make their last few days happy and memorable. It is about adding days to their life.
To make this dream a reality, we have launched a crowdsourcing campaign, to put together funds required for the initiative.
The contribution can start right from $1. This is where the contribution can be made –
