You can feed any vegetable for kids after they turn 1year. But when it comes to baby food you need sort the veggies that goes into their meal. No doubt that they are packed with vitamins, minerals and fiber, but they are also loaded with pesticides. Infants after 6 months can be given veggies in form of purees, soups or mashed along with their food or khichdi.

So here is a list of veggies that can be given to infants:

Broccoli- See our broccoli soup recipes

Beans- pureed, soups or mashed with food

Carrots

Cauliflower

Potato- might turn gassy so sprinkle cumin powder

Sweet potato

Spinach

Squash and  pumpkin

Tomato

Beetroot

Turnips

Asparagus

Peas
