We had the opportunity to attend the 1st Speed Annual Non Medalist Swimming championship held at Ulsoor Kensington Swimming Pool this Sunday.
The Championship was almost on par with international championships. I saw highly excited participants and coaches. Not to forget a venue filled with enthusiastic parents and grandparents. The pool is in its best form from what I have seen during my childhood.
The lake facing pool with multiple tracks was a scene to watch in itself. The kids were super excited getting their medals and all of them were true winners.
I’m so glad that such sporting events happen in Bangalore and an event specially dedicated to swimming. The kids represented different academies.
